I'm getting antsy. Anxious. Downright bored being here in Philly knowing that I'll be going to Utah in 2 weeks. Okay, not bored. I just really want to get to the end of this semester and on to summer vaca!
On the bright side, I have been loving my morning walks every day, seeing the beautiful side of Philly with a great new friend!
On the down side, I sometimes feel left out of things lately with others.
On the bright side, I have a husband who really helps me I am feeling down.
On the down side, I haven't seen JD for like 2 weeks. Saturdays? Studying. Evenings? Studying.
On the bright side, I bought a cute new dress for super-cheap that I really like.
On the down side, JD hates it and thinks it makes me look pregnant. (Awesome).
On the bright side, it is father's day soon and we can do something fun together.
On the down side, JD asked to postpone it for a week til finals are done. (Lame).
On the bright side, its finally the season of Ritas, otter-pops and ice cream cones.
On the down side, we have no money to go to Ritas.
On the bright side, we CAN drive to beach when we need some sun.
On the down side, I got the worst sunburn I have EVER had. Completely miserable. Seriously. Couldn't walk for 3 days.
On the bright side, Jax is getting funnier by the day, and I absolutely LOVE staying home with him.
We'll end on the bright side, since most my days are great here. Is anybody else ready for summer?

Summer is upon us!
Wow, I think it's time for a new post.
Spring is so beautiful here. Alright, let's face it, everything is beautiful out here minus winter-time. As soon as it got warm enough, I started walking again. My good walking buddy moved away (BOO) so I was going crazy not being able to walk every morning. No worries, though. I found a new awesome walking partner! Hooray! We have been going every day and I absolutely love it. I love the weather, love the fresh air, love the trees, love feeding the ducks, and love the good company for both Jax and I! There have been some little baby geese down where we walk, and the kids just love feeding them everyday.
We also have been spending a whole lot of time out on our deck. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous, and it is so great to have a little place to get outside where Jax is safe and I don't have to worry about him. We blow bubbles, play in the water, play with toys, or just sit and read (okay, that's one's just me.)
Jax refused to sleep in the car on the way to the beach, so he ended up sleeping in the shade once we got there all bundled up in a little nest of towel.
So much fun! Are you sure you don't want to come visit us?

Our new friends the Minks also took us to the Please Touch Museum one day and we had a blast! The kids loved playing together, and there were so many neat things to do. Jax had much more fun this time around since he is old enough and tall enough and smart enough to do things on his own, now. Pardon the messy face in the 2nd picture. It's right after lunch before he got wiped down.

We also have been to the beach a few times. LOVE IT! We just can't get enough of the warm sun, cold water, endless sand, and good friends!
