I got this from a friend and thought it would be something to do. I haven't done one of these since High School and thought it might be kindof fun, so here we go.
A-Attached or Single? Attached. I love my sweet husband and we have been married for almost 2 years. What a great blessing it is to have JD in my life as a help-meet and support. I love you, sweetheart.
B-Best Friend? Hmmm.. Best friend.. I think I'd have to say JD is my best friend. But I also have lots of other friends..my Mom and sister, Evelyn, Brenda, and Amber among others.
C- Cake or Pie? Most definitely cake. I love icing and cake anytime of day. I don't like pie crust-too flaky-ish for my liking.
D-Day of Choice? Saturday probably. I can usually get a lot done if I am home alone and feel so accomplished while having some time to myself at the same time.
E-Essential Items? Water, Treats, and cell phone. Those are the things that I almost always have with me, no matter where I am.
F- Favorite color? Yellow. What a happy color.
G-Gummy Bears or Worms? I like that you can bite the heads off the bears and mix and match the colors, so I guess I'll say bears.
H-Hometown? Highland, UT
I-Favorite Indulgence? Soft-Serve Ice Cream cones from grocery stores. I don't know why. Just love them.
J-January or July? July, of course. My birthday, parades, fireworks, sometimes camping, and carnivals. Definitely July.
K-Kids? Someday, but none at the moment. If you keep reading my blog, I'll keep you updated.
L-Life isn't complete without? Cookies.
M-Marriage Date?
August 4, 2006. Wow. Almost 2 years. What an old fart I'm beginning to be :)
N-Number of brothers and sisters? 2 brothers, 1 sister. Fun, fun, fun.
O-Oranges or Apples? Oranges.
P-Phobia and Fears? Very afraid of spiders. Seriously. Terrified. Spiders in the shower are the worst, too if anyone wondered.
Q-Quote? "I don't skinny dip, I chunky dunk" (just saw it somewhere recently and thought it really applied). :)
R-Reason to smile? Because I have a teaching job for next fall and I can't wait to start!
S-Season of choice? Spring for the smells, summer for the parades, and fall for the weather.
T-Tag ten people? Hmmm.. maybe not ten, but I'll tag Danielle, Marci, Nic, and Rachel?
U-Unknown fact about me? I don't step on sidewalk cracks or lines.
V-Vegetable?
Tomatoes. Am I sure that is technically a fruit? no.
W-Worse habit? Lately it is surfing the internet on blogs and facebook :(
Y-Your favorite food? Spaghetti, Strawberries, Ice Cream, Cookies, Watermelon.
Z-Zodiac Sign? Cancer

Funny Video...
Okay, one last blurp about San Francisco. We were walking around Fisherman's Wharf and had some extra time. We walked in this mini-museum about ships and Kaden found something he really liked. I thought I'd share this funny video with you all.
P.S. It sounds like he is saying "Kenny" but in reality he is saying his own name (for those of you who don't know Kaden).

San Francisco
Wow, it sure has been a long time since I have posted anything. Well, we are now up in Highland for awhile, JD is finishing his class up here and it has been nice to spend some more time with my family and relax a little.
Right when I came up here we left to go to San Francisco. We did a lot of traveling around the city on every type of transportation you can think of: planes, trains, cable cars, buses, metro, you name it. It was sure fun though. We went and watched the Red Sox play in Oakland, and even though they didn't win, we really enjoyed watching them.
It was a struggle to keep us all in the same place at the same time with 7 adults, one toddler and a baby. But I think we all got to know each other just a bit more during this trip. San Francisco was really neat. We have never been in a city like that with the bridges, row housing, hills, boats, and a few bad neighborhoods. It was such a different experience to see all of it, and as fun as it was to see all those things, I really appreciate where I live a lot more, now.
A few of the places we went were the Oakland Athletics Stadium, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, Lombard Street, and Alcatraz. We saw so many things--here are a few pictures from our trip (okay a lot).
JD and I at the Boston game

On the bus (a new experience for us)

JD in front of the "Bubba Gump" Restaurant. He was pretty excited about this--we even saw Forest Gump! (See jeremyanddanielle.blogspot.com)

A view from the cable car

On the way to Alcatraz

Here I am on the island where Alcatraz is located.

The buildings in the main part of San Francisco were so neat and different from ones we are used to!

I later regretted running with Kaden through all the pigeons. Do you know what pigeons do best? You do the math.

JD and Jeremy got soaked while hanging off the side of the cable car. It was raining hard!

Kaden was tuckered out and sleeping while we waited for the next BART train.

I made a futile attempt to keep Kaden quiet at the game with a sucker.

A common sight during our daily BART rides.

P.S. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us on this great trip! We loved it!
