Comments

Well, I was informed recently by more than one person that I need to enable comments on my blog. So, here you go. I have now enabled comments for any of you wishing to tell me what you think of my rather monotonous life. :) I'm glad to know that there is at least someone reading this blog other than myself... Hope everyone has a happy day.

Teaching Job!

Well, I finally got a job. I was offered a job at Coral Canyon Elementary School teaching 1st grade. That is on the edge of Hurricane and Washington for those of you who don't know where that is. It is only a 30 minute drive from our house, and I am so excited! Here I am the day my contract came in the mail. Wahoo!

That's All, Folks!

Well, it's all finally over. Graduation, finals, job hunting, and moving (at least for now). Papers and portfolios have been turned in, tests have been taken, and units have been completed. All is well. JD left me all alone in Cedar City after graduation, but we talk a lot so it'll all be okay. I was so thrilled to have so much support from family and friends for graduation. I had both families, both grandparents, siblings, friends, and friends of my parents all come to congratulate me. I was so happy to know how much everyone cares about JD and I and our successes. Lots of them sacrificed a lot of things they'd rather be doing to come down for this special time of mine. (Jeremy, Happy Birthday!) Little did they all know, however, that my graduation was an all day event, including lots of walking, lots of eating, and more sleeping than they had anticipated. The second part of graduation was horribly boring as those who came can attest to. We sat and watched as 241 people earning master's degrees were hooded and awarded. The talks weren't spectacular, and I didn't walk until the very end of the program. It was a good experience, though, and I'm glad so many people could make it down. I apologize to those of you who had to sit through it all, I am again grateful to all those who came, and hope to see everyone again very soon!
