I mean really SEEN it? If you haven't been to the East coast during Fall, then you haven't. It is beautiful here. Moving from Utah was bittersweet. I wanted to cry that I wasn't going to see my mountains in who knows how long. How can anything compare with how incredible they are? They are huge, and beautiful, and full of adventures. But, coming here has changed my mind a bit. I still love and miss the mountains that Utah Valley is surrounded by, but it is a different kind of beautiful here. I get to see Autumn in its greatness everyday--not just when I have time to take a drive up into the mountains. The whole city is on fire with color, and you can just smell Fall in the air. I went to the park the other day and wished I had my camera. Every inch of the ground there was covered in bright, flaming red and orange leaves. Huge. Big leaves. Leaves you'd never see in Utah. Oh, I love it here. I wish you could all be here to enjoy it with me. P.S. Looks like we are going to have a Christmas alone out here. If anyone is interested in having a holiday vacation we'd love to have you! I think we are going to try and see the giant Christmas Tree at the Rockefeller center in NYC. Maybe. We'll see.
Just wanted to share some of these cute pictures with you. They were taken in a huge park right next to our house. We are surrounded by so many neat things!
