Little Jaxeroni

My cute Jaxeroni is growing up! He can now sit up, eat semi-solid food, and is even a concert pianist! Hooray for Jax!

Bean Museum or Bust!

While we were up North for Spring Break, I was able to go to the Bean Museum with my sister Danielle and her kids while JD worked (sorry, JD!). I remember going there as a little girl while I was either in preschool or in an early elementary grade. I remember the smell, and some of the animals that were there, too. It was fun to go again. In school right now with my first graders, we are watching caterpillars turn into butterflies. I am excited to show them the cool pictures I got of the butterfly exhibit. Here are a few funny pictures.

In Review...

Forgive me.. I have been swimming (nearly drowning) in SEP's, Dr. Seuss books, cute little baby boy giggles, family activities, and television-less, internet-less evenings at home, and have not posted anything in quite awhile. But thank heavens for spring break! I sit here on the couch using my computer with wireless internet, watching cable on a big-screen TV with nothing on my mind but what I am going to help make for dessert tomorrow. What a wonderful feeling!
So here are a few months in review.

What a cute baby boy we have! He is getting so big! He is 5 months on Tuesday, I can't believe it. He is rolling all over the place now, laughs, has found out how to get attention, fake-laughs, and can pick his feet up while standing. He has started eating solid foods, and loves it! We are still working on sleeping through the night, but Daddy is really good at doing most the work since Mommy works. Below: One day we came to check on him, and this is what we found. Seriously, not staged! :)

JD and I are trying to use up our Dixie Direct card as much as we can before moving. One of the coupons was free admission to the Dino Museum. This was about the most interesting display in the place...trust me.
We also had a fun trip to Zion a few weeks back. We had fun walking around in the desolated park with Jax. Here is the "light at the end of the tunnel."

The Reimschiissel family finally got some pictures done.. and just in time! Right before Bryce left on his mission. I think they turned out really good. Gotta love Southern Utah. Luckily, we beat the rainstorm the day of these pictures!
Well, we are now gearing up and getting ready for this big move of ours. We are bracing ourselves for a lot of change, and a little loneliness. But we are excited!
