Christmastime at last

Christmas finally came! While up North at the Reiber's house, JD and I took an evening to go up and visit Temple Square. It was very cold, and we spent lots of the night inside the visitor's centers. It was neat to see the lights, though. Afterward we went to the Cheescake Factory with my sister Dani and her husband Jeremy, and my brother Rhett. Expensive, horrible wait, and not excellent service, but good food, and a good time! Merry Christmas!

Rock Climbing

Right before winter came, our friends the Solomons took us climbing with some other friends. After getting lost for quite some time, we finally met up and took a short hike to the climb. It was so much fun! It was a whole new kind of adventure for JD and I since we had never done anything like this before, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We did fine climbing, but I took a little fall coming back down to the car, of all things. What a fun time we had!

JD in Mexico!!

The week after finals JD went to Mexico with a group of pre-dental students from SUU. It took 19 hours each way, but he sure had fun! He worked in Hospitals, Dental Clinics, and orphanges, then spent the rest of the days at the beach. Since he could only use a phone-card, we only got to talk for 25 minutes over the whole week, (which was hard!) and I was sure glad when he got home! JD got to swim at the beach almost everyday, and loved it! He was pretty upset when he swam in the ocean one day and came home to snow in Cedar City the next. Here are a few pictures from his trip.
